About Me

Who am I?

Hello, as you can see, my name is Molly Snodgrass and I am running for Big Walnut Board of Education in 2025. I am a Big Walnut parent—the mother of a Souders 1st Grader and soon-to-be Kindergartener, and stepmother to their grown sister—and I look forward to both of my boys receiving a top-tier public education at Big Walnut schools.

I work at Abbott Nutrition, managing several contract manufacturers who produce products for Abbott. I have a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and attended Poland Local Schools in Poland, Ohio for my entire primary & secondary education.

Aside from a brief 2-year stint in Texas and an internship in Indiana, I have lived my entire life in Ohio. The Buckeye State is my home, and the Big Walnut community is where my husband, Dan, and I have planted our roots. We bought a plot in Harlem Township 5 years ago and currently reside in our forever-home which we had the privilege to build together in 2021.

I have spent time volunteering on several committees in Harlem Township and have thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in local governance. Seeking a position on the Big Walnut Board of Education combines my interest in serving my local community with my passion for ensuring my children—and all children— receive a well-rounded education which sets them up for future success.

You can read more about my vision for Big Walnut Local Schools, and my focus areas as a parent and future Board member, at the link below.

Please also feel free to reach out to me to get to know me better as a person, and to learn more about my commitment to the community as a future Board member.
